Although Adriana Lima looks nothing over 24, the busy mom of two will eventually be retiring from the Run way that made her a star.
So Victoria's Secret replaced the gorgeous brunette blue eyed bombshell with a familiar brunette blue eyed stunner.
Adriana started modeling for Victoria's Secret at a super young age, and caused a little bit of a controversy. Barbara is ONLY 19 years old.
The sexy barely legal hottie became a household name, when a picture of her surfaced with Justin Bieber. The world was very wrong, Justin Bieber can't get with her..PLEASE GOD leave SOME HUMANITY.
Well everyone's gotta go some time, and Adriana isn't an exception.

1. Adriana Lima is not retiring from Victoria's Secret--she walked in the show. And Ale is, I think, just about as old as Adriana Lima AND is also a mom of two, but the two moms are both going strong.

I DO honestly believe that Barbara is going to become a new Angel, but I think there are a few other girls ahead of her at the moment--older models, and models who have done more with VS. Palvin is still a relatively fresh face for VS and she has not been the face for numerous luxury brands--she has for some, but not for MANY.
3. In no way can Palvin replace Lima. Barbara Palvin does not have a striking resemblance to Lima, either. AND that's why she'll eventually become an Angel, I think. VS wants their girls to have a slightly similar look (the bombshell thing) but they're probably not going to have lookalikes (excluding maybe Izabel, who looked like Ale, I think).
But, no. VS is CERTAINLY not going to be replacing their sexiest veteran with a 19 year old girl. They know she won't have the kind of fame that the other girls have--like Adriana (no comparison, hands down), or Ale or Candice or even Erin. AND her body is great, but the girl does not have the VS, toned and sexy body. She's just thin. They're going to wait a while on her, I think.
I dont mean that she's retiring, but she will stop modeling for V.S in the next year or so.
DeleteBut theyre getting a lot of love for her on their fb page, and V.S is going to milk Barbara for all shes worth. They're already featuring her in commercials with other angels - Adriana not present and V.S did a little behind the scenes spotlight with Barbara.
I think Adriana is a better model than Barbara hands down, and she has that "X factor". I'm surprised Barbara only walked in the Calender girl section. Hopefully V.S does more stuff with her and Shanina Shaik
Even if Adrianna does retire, she will always be remembered as the sex goddess, she's absolutely gorgeous and sorry to say, but the other girl doesn't not have any resemblance to her, sure she has brown hair and blue eyes but that doesn't mean anything, the other girl has her own unique look but to me she will never be able to replace Adrianna.
