Summer Everyday Makeup

I've been super busy with some work stuff, but I have a great post for you guys. Summer Everyday makeup!

Summer Makeup is so confusing for people, because everyone says different stuff, so I wanted to come up with a look that you can wear everyday or night and not look overdone.

Hayden is  my summer makeup icon, she knows how to work summer!

Moisturize SUN SCREEN AND PRIME NEVER FORGET THESE STEPS.
Start with a dewey skin, stick to tinted moisturizers/sheer/medium coverage foundations. Use a concealer instead to conceal any blemishes or acne.

Make sure to powder your face if you get a little oily.

Fill in your brows lightly, because nothing is unsexier then oscar the grouch eye brows that are smeared all over your face.

Skip the contouring and use a highlighter on your cheeks and nose area. Use concealer if you like a less shimmery look.

Skip the eye shadows for everyday and apply some liner and mascara instead. Dab a little color lip gloss or NYX matte lip creame and your ready to go.


For a night out, try applying a shimmery bronze color or gold all over your lid, and use a matte brown in your crease to define and deepen. You can even use a darker matte color eye shadow to define your crease. Add a little rouge to your lips and you're look is summer ready and very fresh faced.

Get rid of your Pimple/Ingrown Instantly

We all get those random horrible zits at the worst times, and while most of us let time heal it away, I almost always prefer to pop it. Why? Because i don't really get a lot of pimples, maybe one pimple every 2-3 months. My skin is super dry, and when I neglect removing my makeup due to hangover or just plain falling asleep, my skin punishes me with a pimple.

There are steps you can take to ensure when you pop your pimple, its safe, clean and painless

1. Wash your tweezers/needle with anti-bacterial soap...I recommend even dipping it in alcohol.
2. Wash your face with a facewash that has tea tree oil in it.
3. Use your tweezers to pick the "peak" of the pimple..make sure NOT to grab the whole pimple or a chunk..
   
   
   
   
4. Use your fingers to squeeze the pimple..this step is so important, a lot of people think its disgusting and for go it. This will help drain the fluids and maybe a dot of blood.
   
   
5. Wipe your pimple with tea tree oil or an all natural astringent like Witch Hazel. I tend to clean my pimple with witch hazel every few hours, but this step is entirely up to you
6. Do these steps at night, so your skin has time to relax and heal.
7. Wash your face in the morning and apply witch hazel to the area
8. make sure you only do this to one or two pimples, that are far apart. you can't pop your whole cheeks.
9. Avoid makeup on the pimple for atleast 3-5 hours.
10. you might have to redo the steps, just wait 6-7 hours before "repopping"
11. This works just as well on In grown hair as well

What if you don't want to pop it, and you're looking for a much more gentler approach?

Rub a regular bar of anti-bacterial soap on your pimple..make sure the area is dry. Keep rubbing the soap without washing away as much as you can. The soap is extremely drying, which in turn will dry out your pimple!

Get rid of Rootkit (*free softwares included*)

I noticed for the past month that everytime i would click on a link on google, it would send me to a different site randomly. I ran Malwarebyte and noticed i had ROOTKIT, so I did the whole deletion thing, but again it would be back. I realized through research that rootkit is pretty hard to get rid of.....

 What is ROOTKIT?
A rootkit is a stealthy type of software, often malicious, designed to hide the existence of certain processes or programs from normal methods of detection and enable continued privileged access to a computer.^[1] The term rootkit is a concatenation of "root" (the traditional name of the privileged account on Unix operating systems) and the word "kit" (which refers to the software components that implement the tool). The term "rootkit" has negative connotations through its association with malware.^[1]
Rootkit installation can be automated, or an attacker can install it once they've obtained root or Administrator access. Obtaining this access is a result of direct attack on a system (i.e. exploiting a known vulnerability, password (either by cracking, privilege escalation, or social engineering)). Once installed it becomes possible to hide the intrusion as well as to maintain privileged access. The key is the root/Administrator access. Full control over a system means that existing software can be modified, including software that might otherwise be used to detect or circumvent it.
Rootkit detection is difficult because a rootkit may be able to subvert the software that is intended to find it. Detection methods include using an alternative and trusted operating system, behavioral-based methods, signature scanning, difference scanning, and memory dump analysis. Removal can be complicated or practically impossible, especially in cases where the rootkit resides in the kernel; reinstallation of the operating system may be the only available solution to the problem. When dealing with firmware rootkits, removal may require hardware replacement, or specialised equipment.

Thankfully I didn't have a serious Rootkit problem, so what I used is.

Kaspersky TDSSKILLER (free)
Malwarebyte (free)

I used both of them (FULL SCAN) to rid myself of the problem, since then there hasnt really been anything suspicious. It worked pretty well for me, so try for yourselves. It's always worth a try right?


Tips:For future protection

1.  run FULL scans on a weekly basis, and try to run quick scans whenever you can.
2. Increase your security measures
3. Avoid downloading files from sketchy websites
4. Research softwares before downloading
5. Always clear your History, Cookies and Temp files (weekly)
